Ma highlighted his work on FOCIL, also called EIP-7805, and the Fast Confirmation Rule, expressing particular pride in those projects. He explained that the Fast Confirmation Rule significantly sped up transfers between Ethereum Layer 2 networks and the main Ethereum network, reducing the time to just 13 seconds.

Beek played a key role in Ethereum’s move to proof-of-stake. His research on the Beacon Chain helped lay the groundwork for this significant change from its previous system.
