XRP saw a significant $60 million flow of money into its ETFs last week – the best week of the year so far – bringing the total inflows to $1.39 billion. Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, believes this is only the start of a larger trend.
McClurg predicts XRP’s price could potentially double and interest in the cryptocurrency could rise by around 30% before the year is out, as he stated on the show.
This isn’t just general optimism. It’s a precise prediction, made at a specific time, by the CEO of a company that was among the first to apply for a spot XRP ETF in the U.S.
The Roadmap McClurg Is Seeing
McClurg laid out a three-phase view of how XRP gets there.

We anticipate a significant increase in investments into ETFs after the midterm elections. This expected surge is fueled by factors like the CLARITY Act, the growing market for tokenized securities, and the increasing adoption of real-world asset (RWA) investments.

XRP ETFs have seen a total of $1.39 billion in investments, with the best week of 2026 just recorded. Analyst McClurg predicts this will increase by 30% by December, fueled by shifts in investment after the midterm elections, growing interest in real-world asset (RWA) investments, and the expected passage of the CLARITY Act, which would allow institutional investors to invest more freely.
XRP is trading around $1.40 today. McClurg’s double target puts it above $2.80 by year end.
