After recent developments on June 11th, Fortune magazine now lists Solana among the top three blockchain and protocol-based cryptocurrencies.

While the Fortune 2026 Crypto 100 is globally recognized as the ranking of the most influential companies and projects in the blockchain ecosystem, the company confirmed that its list is compiled through data analysis conducted by Inca Digital and resources from notable crypto experts.
This list includes important projects and businesses from both traditional finance and the world of blockchain, though it’s not limited to just crypto assets.
Why Solana?
The publication mentioned its ratings and explained that it ranked Solana third in the blockchain category. This is because Solana has become one of the most popular blockchains currently available.
From my analysis, Solana’s design really stands out. Its ability to handle a large number of transactions quickly has made it a central platform for things like decentralized apps, new token offerings, and processing stablecoin payments. It’s become a key network for all of those activities.
According to Fortune, Solana has also attracted partnerships and integrations from global payment firms, including Visa, Stripe, and PayPal. All these partnerships have tapped into Solana’s infrastructure for stablecoin-related services.
