Mt. Gox, the Bitcoin exchange that failed in Tokyo in 2014, recently made a small Bitcoin transaction worth just $500 after being inactive for four months. This movement signals continued progress in the process of repaying creditors. Around 34,500 BTC, currently worth billions of dollars, is still being distributed to those who have been verified. While most payments have already been made, the complete repayment process is scheduled to finish by October 31, 2026.
