Solana Price Remains Supported
Like Bitcoin and Ethereum, Solana’s price dropped after failing to hold above $85. It fell below $84 and then $83.50, indicating a short-term downward trend.
The price of SOL/USD dropped below the 50% Fibonacci retracement level, moving from a low of $81.42 to a high of $85.89, and briefly tested the $83 support level. A bullish trend line is also developing on the hourly chart, currently providing support around $82.50.
Solana’s price is currently over $83 and has risen above its 100-hour moving average. It’s now encountering some resistance around $84, with stronger resistance expected near $85 and $88. If the price can break through the $88 level, it could continue to climb steadily, potentially reaching $95 and eventually $100.
Downside Break In SOL?
If SOL doesn’t break past the $85 mark, it might start falling again. It could find some support around $82.50, near a recent trend line and a key Fibonacci retracement level. However, the biggest support level to watch is around $81.40.
If the price falls below $81.40, it could drop to around $80. If it breaks below $80, we might see it fall further to $76.50 in the short term.
