Trump’s Impeachment Farce: The Deep State’s Jolly Jape Unveiled!

What ho! The Director of National Intelligence, the redoubtable Tulsi Gabbard, has declassified a positively spiffing set of transcripts from the old days of President Donald Trump’s first impeachment kerfuffle.

These documents, tucked away like a forgotten cucumber sandwich for over seven years, have finally seen the light of day. They spill the beans on briefings with the then-Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson, regarding the whistleblower complaint that set the whole shebang in motion.

Transcripts Reveal a Dash of Partisan Piffle

The newly unveiled records, old chap, show that the whistleblower was a registered Democrat-a fellow with a prior professional tango with then-Vice President Joe Biden on Ukraine policy. Not only that, but he also moonlighted as a CIA detailee at the White House. Jolly good show, what?

And here’s the topper: the chap had a cozy chat with Schiff’s committee staff before filing his formal complaint in August 2019. That little detail, mind you, was omitted from the official intake forms. How’s that for a spot of oversight?

Newly-declassified records expose how deep state actors within the Intelligence Community concocted a false narrative that Congress used to usurp the will of the American people and impeach duly-elected President @realDonaldTrump in 2019.

HPSCI Chairman Rick Crawford, with a flourish worthy of a first-class butler, released the papers after Gabbard completed her declassification review last week.

Atkinson’s Dash for the Tape

The released materials suggest that Atkinson, in a move more hurried than a chap late for the last train to Tunbridge Wells, fast-tracked the complaint despite being well aware of the whistleblower’s political leanings.

He reportedly took the individual’s self-assessment of impartiality at face value, without so much as a by-your-leave or an independent investigation. Dash it all, one would expect better from a man of his station!

The Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, meanwhile, ruled that the complaint involved foreign diplomacy, relied on secondhand tittle-tattle, and failed to meet the “urgent concern” threshold. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, what?

Political Fireworks and Market Palpitations

Gabbard, with the air of a woman who’s just discovered the cook has been pilfering the silver, framed the documents as proof of intelligence community misconduct. However, her critics-a noisy bunch, to be sure-have accused her of withholding intelligence from Congress. Tsk, tsk.

Whistleblower Aid, not one to let a good row pass them by, filed a separate complaint against the DNI director earlier this year. It’s all very much like a game of tennis at the club, with volleys flying back and forth.

Our response to confirmation that DNI Gabbard continues to block key congressional leaders from seeing-in any form-the underlying, classified intelligence associated with our Intelligence Community client’s disclosure:

The disclosure, old bean, has added a dash of political volatility to the already frothy mix ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Crypto regulation and Trump administration policy remain the central issues for digital asset voters, though one suspects they’re all rather more concerned with the price of a decent cup of tea.
